When you are looking for places to visit in Manhattan, New York, you want to consider Rockefeller Center, Statue of Liberty, Madison Square Garden and the Empire State Building. There are also museums, shops and parks to see in Manhattan. The American Museum Of Natural History and the Metropolitan Museum of Art are two incredible museums to see. You can spend an entire day in each museum and take your time seeing every exhibit they have on display. The New York Stock Exchange is an amazing area to explore. The Empire State Building is a place to see both at night and during the day. At night, you see an array of colors coming from the top of the building. It is a magical thing to see. You can take a tour of the building and visit the eighty-sixth floor where the observatory is located. You can glaze out over the city and it seems like you can see forever. The Empire State Building has been one of the top listed things to do in Manhattan, New York as long as the building has been in existence, which is 1931.

Madison Square Garden is not only for concerts and for basketball games, it is about the beautiful gardens as well. You can take a tour of the buildings and the grounds and enjoy seeing something so amazing. Nobody can imagine the size of this place by seeing pictures, you need to visit and tour the grounds to understand what goes on behind the scenes to keep this place so beautiful. Madison Square Gardens is open daily for tours and you can spend the day exploring areas of the building that you never see or hear about.

The best of things to do in Manhattan, New York is to visit the Statue of Liberty. While taking tour of the Statue, you can also visit Ellis Island Museum. This museum will show you the facts and history of the immigrants that enter the United States from other areas of the world. Located in New York Harbor, the Statue of Liberty is amazing to see in person. Many school groups that come to New York make this one of their stops. The statue is truly a peace of history that should be seen and explored by everyone. The excitement does not stop here.

Next it is on to Rockefeller Center is another wonder of Manhattan. This historical landmark draws a crowd of visitors every day. The entertainment and business center has a skating rink during the winter months or you can tour the studios of NBC. If you are into color and lots of it, you will enjoy the gardens that surround Rockefeller Center. You will find so many different things to do in Manhattan, New York besides the fine restaurants and shopping. Go when the weather is right so you can enjoy the beauty of the city and see everything that is special about the area.
